Our educators encourage our students to play an active role in environmental care and sustainable development by providing them with a personalised learning experience. Approved centres enforce a strict ‘no hat, no play’ policy and ensure sunscreen is applied regularly. Furthermore, outdoor play is vital for children’s mental wellbeing, providing a necessary release of energy in a safe, supervised setting. Given our weather, outdoor learning is not just an afterthought; it’s central to the EYLF. Leading childcare services create outdoor environments to be rich, sensory landscapes. You should expect to see natural grass, vegetable daycare center patches, and climbing forts that encourage imaginative play.
