Pakenham Childcare & Day Care
Together, we strive to create a centre where children are excited to learn, families feel supported and welcome, and educators are empowered to grow and thrive in their practice. I’m excited to build lasting partnerships with our families and community and to help give every child the best possible start in life. Each of our programs - whether nursery, toddler, or kindergarten - is play-based, culturally rich, and designed to spark curiosity and confidence, allowing children to strengthen their love of learning. G8 Education is privileged to contribute to the care and early education of over 45,000 children, from babies through to kindergarten and preschool, in our 400+ child care centres across Australia. Our curriculum is carefully designed to develop essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills while preparing children for future academic success.
As part of our commitment to fostering healthy habits and a love for fresh food, all Story House services have introduced the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGP). This hands-on initiative connects children with growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, seasonal food. In our kindergarten pakenham pre-school room, our curriculum is tailored to accommodate your child’s individual learning and development needs, which helps boost their enthusiasm, motivation, and willingness to learn. At our Pakenham childcare centres, seasonal, delicious and nutritious meals are freshly made daily. You will also receive daily photos and updates of your child’s learning and development through our family communication app.
We encourage this at our Early Learning Centres through a play-based approach to learning. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Greenwood is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. It is the best and easiest way to keep track of your child’s day.
Additionally, through the Sleep Smart program, educators receive expert guidance to enhance sleep practices, further ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. We’re proud to be the only early learning provider certified three times as a Great Place to Work and named as one of Australia’s Best Workplaces. We’ve been recognised for our commitment to wellbeing, inclusion, and innovation because creating inspiring environments starts with creating an inspiring workplace.
When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. We encourage your child to ask questions, experiment, and problem-solve, all while engaging their natural curiosity. By fostering this inquisitive mindset, we help them develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Once Eden’s Operations Manager, she’s now leading our People & Culture team – helping nurture, support and empower our educators every step of the way. The educators recognise that every child is unique and that they bring their own needs, interests and strengths with them each day. The program is designed to be flexible to cater to these differing needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive at Goodstart.
We were nervous first time parents sending our 7 month old to daycare but he’s thriving. He absolutely adores Maya and the other educators in the nursery. At Aspire Pakenham, we cater to children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.
I’m proud to work alongside passionate educators who share a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care every day. The Aspire value that resonates with me the most is Connecting Communities. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and educators. Through collaboration and shared purpose, we create inclusive environments where everyone thrives. As a leader, I value empathy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Our centre is ideal for parents looking for a long-term childcare solution. We are situated in a great location close to Pakenham train station, Pakenham Central Marketplace, and various local parks and reserves. We rigorously follow the child-safe standards set out by the Victorian Government. These standards guide us to drive a child safe culture, provide appropriate strategies and actions to put the interests of children first, keeping them safe from harm. We are committed to involving families and communities in our efforts to keep children safe. Experiencing different environments and groups of people helps them learn.
At Story House Early Learning Pakenham, we offer a diverse range of programs designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences for every child. At Story House Early Learning Pakenham, we provide a warm, family-oriented environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. The Early Years Learning Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning. At Little Stars Pakenham, we recognize the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development.
