Neurodiversity Assessment, Support, Training
This government grant is designed to help individuals get or stay in work with the right support for their needs. Each year, the Access to Work scheme can award up to £66,000 in workplace support. We are uniquely skilled to assess, diagnose, and understand strengths and difficulties for the 1 in 5 children and adults living with neurodevelopmental conditions. I always suggest that if you are looking for the diagnosis to be accepted by any service, GP, MH services, psychology, etc, that you discuss my credentials with them. This will help you ascertain if they will accept it before you commit to a professional autism assessment with me.
We encourage open dialogue, and our support services are designed to create a safe space where you can freely discuss your experiences and concerns. Peer to Peer support of others who understand our situation is a benefit of being part of the AP Cymru family, as our families will openly share their experiences. Below, you’ll find links to video resources we’ve put together to help you understand what to expect from the assessment process.

Autism assessments work best when they employ a collaborative and personalised approach, working closely with the individual being assessed. I use a variety of assessment techniques for this, such as questionnaires, self-reports, and interviews.
