Note that statistics on general practice activities based on Bettering the Evaluation and Care of Health data are derived from a sample survey of GPs and their encounters with patients, and need to be interpreted with some caution. These sensations are usually worse with activity initially but can be more constant in later disease.
After comprehensive quality analysis using the QUADAS-2 and the COSMIN RB , the results obtained using both tools contain inconsistencies. The same occurred with the validation of Van der Water et al. using the Shoulder Function Index and that of Bicer et al. using the SPADI . Thus, the SFInX and the SPADI are highly recommended in proximal humerus fractures and shoulder pain, respectively. Frequent shoulder dysfunctions are the third cause of musculoskeletal consultations in primary health care . In fact, arthritis , rotator cuff injuries , shoulder instabilities and fractures constitute a large part of traumatology dysfunctions.
